Description
When I was younger I used to draw a Pokemon comic. However, the human characters were not drawn anime-style, and instead had overbites and bug eyes like Simpsons characters.
This was a draft of my first attempt at drawing my character in the proper Pokemon anime-style artwork. I am accompanied by my two favourite Pokemon of all time, Magcargo and Togekiss.
I think it is a pretty good first attempt, although I have trouble drawing hands, especially clenched fists. Fire's kinda hard to draw too. Any feedback is appreciated.

This isn't bad for a first attempt! The Pokemon look good, especially Magcargo (probably because he's your favorite) but I can see your struggle with hands and pants. Have you tried using reference images? Pants are really easy to draw correctly once you understand the dynamics of fabric, but it really does require practice and reference images. Still working on perfecting it myself. Same thing with the hands! They look like a good first attempt, but remember the fingers are typically just as long as the palm, so curled up they would be about 1/4 of the actual hand. The shoes and backpack look great, good attention to detail. And the face isn't shittly drawn which is typically everyone's first problem when it comes to anime. Nice proportionate features and good symmetry. Try drawing on a larger piece of paper, see how hard it is then! That's the best way to learn faster.
